Offers
Your website can do more than say hello.
A brand consultation. A site assessment. A portrait session. A piano lesson. A bigger project that starts with a conversation.
Whatever your business offers, give people a clear way to take the next step.
Put up to five offers together on one page, or add them to the website you already have.
- Pay Now
- You know the price. They know what they're getting. Let them review your terms and pay by card.
- Ask Me
- The job needs a conversation first. Let them tell you what they're looking for, then work out the details together.
Share one link, or put your offers right on your website. When someone chooses an offer, Much Obliged gives them the appropriate next step.
You built the business. Give people a way to do business with you.
With Much Obliged started. Pay Now needs Stripe; Ask Me doesn't. In your dashboard: Work, under Offers.
No success tax.
You landed the client. You did the work.
We made the software.
So we charge for the software. Not a piece of the job.
A $500 job.
A $5,000 job.
A $15,000 month. Still $8.

Your success is yours.
Questions
Does my client need a Much Obliged account?
No. They open your link, review the job, accept it and pay. Nothing to sign up for.
Do I have to write my proposal inside Much Obliged?
No. Keep using the proposal you already made.
Name it on the job and your client sees that name, while the job page keeps the price, the payment terms and what's due clear. Much Obliged doesn't store or check the document itself: what your client accepts is what their job page shows.
Can I take a deposit?
Yes. One fixed amount when they accept, and the exact rest later, on the same link.
Can my client agree before anything is due?
Yes. Choose “Nothing now” and they accept the job without paying. Accepting records their yes, with the time. Nothing is charged.
When is the rest due?
When the work is ready (you mark it ready with one tap), or by a date you choose. Your client pays the balance on the same link. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
Can my client pay me directly instead?
Yes. Choose “They pay me directly”, or record a payment that came another way. It shows as “Recorded by you”: Much Obliged didn't process it and doesn't check it.
Where does the money go?
Card payments go through Stripe straight to your own connected Stripe account. Much Obliged never holds your money.
Does Much Obliged take a percentage?
No. Much Obliged platform fee: $0. Standard Stripe processing fees apply to card payments.
What does Much Obliged cost?
$8 a month. 0% platform fee.
What happens after my client pays?
You do the work. When the work is ready, tap “It's ready” and the remaining balance becomes due on the same link. When you've sent it or handed it over, record that, and the job is done.
Can new clients choose a service themselves?
Yes, with Offers: one page with up to five offers, on its own link or on your website. They can buy a set service on the spot, or send you a short message about a bigger one. Nothing is charged for a message.
When you've agreed the details, turn the message into a client job.
Can I still see finished jobs?
Yes. Every job keeps its full record: what was agreed, what was paid, and when it was finished. You can download it, and start a new job from it with “Work with them again”.
